What’s limitless has no extension; what has no extension is all the same be it infinitely great or small.
Not only is God infinitely great, but infinitely small, too: There’s no particle in which He doesn’t reside in His fullest form. God and the universe are together both in a single point.

Evening Journey

A journey into oneself: a journey into the universe. The spatial world relates to the universe like a pocket to the living body.
By night, you breathe a prayer under a starry sky: How vast the world is! But see: your single thought flits past the furthest celestial body in an instant.
The path from one thought to the next thought is infinitely longer than that from one star to the next.
Man feels the world is infinite, but in reality space presses in on us like a prison cell whose length and breadth are no more than a single pace. Those who can penetrate within themselves until the infinite currents can smash a small hole in the cell wall; those who’ve absolved their own personality can smash a hole in the cell wall big enough to fit through.

3. Béla Hamvas: The Psychology of Flower Picking
Plants live within two worlds and connect two worlds: the world below, where the dead are, where matter is, and the world above, where souls are and where the mind is. Hence the being of a plant is open like a bridge or a gate, open from within and without, from above and below.
